Landscape
paintings celebrating spring, summer and autumn days are
shown in this contemporary art gallery with views
of Falls of Dochart, Perthshire, Angus and Dundee. Two of these
acrylic paintings are on stretched canvas, (box canvas), and require
no framing.
John uses oils, acrylic, and watercolour, and strong colour tones
to create drama in his Scottish landscape paintings of the Falls
of Dochart at Killin, Butterybank in Couper Angus, Isle of Skye
and the dramatic image of a contemporary Forfar Loch.
John's acrylic painting of a sunset on the River Tay from Broughty
Ferry completes the set.
A recent project of watercolour paintings from an early summer trip
to the Inner Hebrides can be seen on the page of Islay
and Jura.
